Get ready to unleash your inner artist with a Bob Ross inspired painting session! You will have the opportunity to create your own version of the beautiful Winter Frost painting, following the wet on wet oil painting technique. This technique involves painting over a thin base layer of wet paint using a limited selection of tools and colors, making it accessible to everyone without the need for expensive equipment.
Bob Ross, known for his landscapes featuring mountains, lakes, snow, and log cabin scenes, drew inspiration from his time in Alaska during his Air Force career. He believed that everyone has artistic talent and can become a skilled artist with practice and encouragement.
Did you know that in 381 episodes of his show, 91% of Bob Ross's paintings included at least one tree, 44% had clouds, 39% featured mountains, and 34% included mountain lakes? With over thirty thousand paintings completed, Bob Ross's work rarely included human subjects, focusing instead on serene natural landscapes.

Influences
Ross was inspired by the teachings of Bill Alexander, but did you know that the wet-on-wet technique actually dates back to the 15th century in Flanders? This technique has been used by famous artists such as Diego Velazquez, Paul Cezanne, Caravaggio, John Singer Sargent, and Claude Monet, among others.All Materials and equipment is included you will be painting on either an A3 or A2 canvas (please choose your canvas option below)!
